Fika Sisters

Our Story

Fika Pastries started in March of 2019 by the Lalama Sisters: Daniela and Beverly. Daniela has a master’s degree in Business Administration and Beverly has a master’s degree in Engineering Management. Even though both sisters have a business background, they have always been passionate about baking.

This passion comes from their mother and grandmother who originate from the small-town of Junin-Ecuador. It has been a long tradition of their family to make baking goods and all sort of sweet treats; to this day the women in their family continue this baking tradition. Daniela and Beverly started Fika Pastries as way to honor these women who have been their life inspiration. They are extremely proud to follow in their footsteps and are excited to share these amazing pastries with the Rapid City community; that now they consider their own. They look forward to continuing to grow Fika Pastries and expand their business in beautiful South Dakota.
